I created this space as a way to capture life as it happens—the everyday moments, the meaningful ones, and everything in between. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a place where I share my love for lifestyle, travel, and the beauty of intentional living.

Hi, I'm Jaanu

My Story

Growing up, life was never a straight line.

By the time I was in my teens, I had already lived on three different continents—Asia, Europe, and North America. Those early experiences shaped how I see the world today, giving me a deep appreciation for culture, connection, and the beauty of different perspectives.

For the past three decades, it has been the honour of my life to serve my country, Canada, as a civil servant. Along the way, I found myself stepping into the world of event planning—and more specifically, the high-profile protocol events. It wasn’t something I had planned, but it became a part of me. I took great pride in the work, in the details, and in creating moments that mattered—and I still do.

Now, as I begin transitioning into the next chapter of my professional career, I find myself asking: where will this path take me next?

What I do know is this—
I love entertaining.
I’m a home chef at heart.
And I’ve always loved writing and telling stories.

Recently, I experienced the sudden loss of my youngest sister. It shifted something in me. It made me realize that the things we feel called to do—the passions we carry—aren’t meant to be put on hold.

So here I am, taking a chance.
Putting all that I am into this space.

And hoping that those of you who find your way here will see something that resonates, inspires, or simply makes you pause for a moment.
